We work systematically with our suppliers to support fair working conditions and a good environmental management across our supply chain. We require all our suppliers and licensing partners to sign our Code of Conduct* which covers human and labour rights, health and safety, anti-corruption, and caring for the environment.
Suppliers who provide electronic or metal components for LEGO products also need to comply with the LEGO Group Policy on Conflict Minerals.
We regularly monitor compliance to our requirements through our supplier audit programme, using a combination of third party auditors and LEGO specialist staff. Our intention is always to support and work with suppliers who show a genuine commitment to improve.
*This will be replaced by our new Code, the LEGO Group Responsible Business Principles, to be introduced to suppliers and licensing partners from May 2018 onwards.
