Claus joined the LEGO Group in 2002 as Product Manager. Since then, Claus has steadily worked his way up within the LEGO Group and has held various roles within marketing, procurement, finance, and retail.
Claus has a background in Strategy and Leadership from Aarhus University, Denmark. Since joining the LEGO Group, he has gained extensive experience and knowledge of the company and the markets in which the LEGO Group operates. Claus has led in product portfolio and life cycle management, procurement and sourcing, supply and demand, supply chain planning and distribution, and continuous improvement.
In his current role, Claus is responsible for all of the direct channels of the LEGO Group, both offline and online, including more than 140 LEGO Group stores across the world as well as close to 200 LEGO branded partner stores. The scope of his role also includes the LEGO Group's online commerce channel, Shop.LEGO.com, being live in more than 24 countries.
