From age 5-15, I bought all kinds of LEGO sets, and now, at 40, have started appreciating some of the larger, significant sets instead of mixing all the pieces together as toys. This set was extremely impressive in the design of the construction, the thoughtfulness of the detail, fun of building the sections (the base in particular was a great surprise), and the beauty of the finished product. The instruction booklet came with fascinating info, and some parts are even hidden in the final construction. If I had any complaint, it would be the use of stickers instead of printed pieces. The playability is tight, but the colors and display size are captivating.Play Experience4.0

This was a great build! Having watched the moon landings live on tv, the build reminded me so much of that time. I had no issues with the instructions. I would recommend a new Lego Appollo Command Module as a companion to the Lunar Lamder in the same size ratio. I just finished this build, and it’s by far the best piece I’ve ever built. I can’t quite put my finger on it but something about this set has me completely enamored of it. The build was repetitive, but fun. It took me no more than a couple of hours total. The end product is just stunning. I absolutely love this set.
