How LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robot Inventor compares to previous MINDSTORMS products

You might be wondering about what sets the Robot Inventor apart from our previous LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robotics sets. Here’s what’s new:

• A new programmable hub with built-in 5x5 light matrix that lights up in fun and expressive ways
• A completely redesigned app that will let you code using a new programming language based on Scratch
• The primary connection is Bluetooth, which will allow your creations to move around wirelessly
• Five new robot designs

Because of these significant changes, the LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor isn’t compatible with MINDSTORMS sets that were released previously.
