He read every book he could find about the space program, built his own pretend rocket-ships out of spare bricks, and even tried eating the astronaut way – out of a tube. That got messy fast. Now that he’s made his way through real astronaut training, the Astronaut is finally on his way to his first new planet. He can’t wait to get there! He’s brought a flag to plant on the surface and everything. He wonders if he’ll encounter any unusual life forms when he arrives. If he does, he hopes they like the spiffy new beard he grew during his long space voyage!

Despite his many crime-committing gadgets, including gliding wings and a web-firing cocoon gun, Killer Moth’s terrible fashion sense and his many defeats mean that nobody takes him seriously now, either!

“Hark! I sense adventure on the horizon!” Most Elves are content to keep hidden within the woods of the Elflands, but the Elf Maiden has decided that her calling lies beyond their fabled borders. So with sword and shield in hand, she has set out to seek adventure in the great unknown, searching for villains to thwart, towns to protect, and princes or princesses in distress who could use a helping hand. The Elf Maiden is clever, quick to make friends, and very determined. Once she sets herself on a path, she always sees her course through to the end. If she has only one regret, it’s having brought an enchanted golden singing sword along on her journey. The tunes are nice for long walks, but it’s really hard to get it to stay quiet when she’s trying to complete a stealthy quest!

“Om nom nom nom.” Have you ever met a semi-intelligent ambulatory plant? One very alarmed Minifigure recently has! The Plant Monster used to be the Monster Scientist’s houseplant until the silly mad doctor accidentally gave it too much of his experimental super-growth fertilizer, causing the horticultural horror to sprout arms, legs, spiky vines, and one huge appetite. Lurking in gardens, bushes, and anywhere else that’s green, the Plant Monster bides its time and then springs out to swallow up passers-by with a gulp and a happy smack of its leafy flytrap mouth. Oddly, it isn’t actually a carnivorous species (though it doesn’t seem to know that), and as long as it gets plenty of sunlight and regular watering, it just spits its victims out again after a day or two – smelling slightly of lettuce, and with a very strange story to tell!

“Bring it on! I’m ready for anything!” The Football Player wants to make sure that he never lets his team down. That’s why he trains for every situation that could possibly affect the outcome of a game, no matter how strange or unlikely. It might make the other players look at him a little funny, but he knows it’s always best to be fully prepared. He trains in snowshoes, because they might have to play during a blizzard in Antarctica. He trains in scuba gear just in case they have a game underwater. He trains in math, physics and history to make sure he can calculate interception angles, tackling speed and battlefield (or football field) strategy. The Football Player knows that all his hard training will pay off some day, and when it does, he’ll lead his team to awesome victory!
