“That’s one small plate for a Minifigure, one giant brick for minifigure-kind!” All his life, the Astronaut has been obsessed with exploring outer space. He read every book he could find about the space program, built his own pretend rocket-ships out of spare bricks, and even tried eating the astronaut way – out of a tube. That got messy fast. Now that he’s made his way through real astronaut training, the Astronaut is finally on his way to his first new planet. He can’t wait to get there! He’s brought a flag to plant on the surface and everything. He wonders if he’ll encounter any unusual life forms when he arrives. If he does, he hopes they like the spiffy new beard he grew during his long space voyage!

Springfield Elementary fourth-grade teacher Edna Krabappel works diligently to provide her students with precisely the minimum education required by law. At first glance, she may seem unenthusiastic. And she is. Enthusiastically so! But underneath her hard shell, Bart’s teacher is a woman who deeply loves having her summers off. Why give that up just because of some aggravating kids?

“Om nom nom nom.” Have you ever met a semi-intelligent ambulatory plant? One very alarmed Minifigure recently has! The Plant Monster used to be the Monster Scientist’s houseplant until the silly mad doctor accidentally gave it too much of his experimental super-growth fertilizer, causing the horticultural horror to sprout arms, legs, spiky vines, and one huge appetite. Lurking in gardens, bushes, and anywhere else that’s green, the Plant Monster bides its time and then springs out to swallow up passers-by with a gulp and a happy smack of its leafy flytrap mouth. Oddly, it isn’t actually a carnivorous species (though it doesn’t seem to know that), and as long as it gets plenty of sunlight and regular watering, it just spits its victims out again after a day or two – smelling slightly of lettuce, and with a very strange story to tell!

The brilliant Professor Jonathan Frink is Springfield’s resident scientist and the inventor of such revolutionary devices as the flying motorcycle and the hamburger earmuffs. If you’ve ever used the Frinkulation Process, or a Magnetic Frinkometer, or enjoyed the labor-saving benefits of a Frinkonium-powered Reverse Frinkulator, you have Professor Frink to thank.

That rarest of rare doctors, the general practitioner-surgeon-pediatrician-anesthesiologist-orthopedist-E.N.T-allergist, Dr. Julius Hibbert is Springfield’s only competent physician. Then he lets out one of his trademark jolly chuckles moments after delivering bad news to a patient, and you have to wonder if maybe Springfield has ZERO good doctors.

Growing up in a scrapyard with his parents on the outskirts of NINJAGO, Jay never dreamed he would one day become the blue ninja. A true master of lightning and questionable fashion choices.

This washed-up warrior may be a little green around the gills, but he is still willing to go ‘kraken’ the whip, wading into battle to defend Apocalypseburg.

The Mariachi plays and sings about history and tradition, about life in the countryside and the city, but what he really excels at is songs of love. Ursula the Sea Witch desires nothing less than control over the entire ocean. She uses her powerful magic to make bargains with desperate mermaids and mermen, granting their wishes but demanding a price that they can rarely pay. She pretends to want to help Ariel, but Ursula’s seeming generosity is all part of her wicked scheme to steal King Triton’s trident and rule the seas!

“Bzzz. Bzzz? Bzzz!” Until very recently, the Fly Monster was a regular housefly. Now that he’s been mutated into a half-fly, half-minifigure creature, he’s found himself a little bit confused. Part of the problem is that his mind is still pretty much that of a fly. The other part is that he doesn’t realize just how much larger he is than he used to be. The Fly Monster is always running into windows, falling off ceilings, and getting stuck to pieces of tape. He’s also very afraid of spiders and flyswatters and flees at the sight of them, buzzing in insectoid terror. There is one good side to his new body, though: it’s a lot easier to get at all of that delicious rotting garbage now that he can lift off the trash-bin lids!

“Did you know that corn is a kind of grass? Well, it is!” Oh boy! The big local summer Corn Festival has just started, and the Corn Cob Guy is here to tell you all about it. You might not have heard about the festival yet, but it’s really huge news around where he lives. People come from all of the surrounding counties just to eat, meet, and talk about one thing: corn! Being the Corn Cob Guy is a big responsibility. He’s got to know lots of corn-related trivia and always keep his costume clean and shiny so that he can give the very best impression of corn. He’s even been practicing acting like an ear of corn. He just hopes it doesn’t get too hot out – he wouldn’t want his costume to start popping!
