Play your part in our team succeedingAs the Director of Strategy you need to be an influential and seasoned thought leader, an experienced people leader, and a great collaborator with your heart in the right place. In this role, you will advise our Marketing Stakeholders on how communication can serve the business objective and inspire world-class creative work. You will help to increase the general level of data and insights knowledge across the LEGO Agency around communication, digitalization, globalization, consumer behavior, kids, parents, shoppers, trends, innovation and media.

You will be part of global LEGO Agency team which is 500 people strong, focusing on the Americas. We are passionate about our mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.
The Director of Strategy will lead a team of strategists focusing on the Americas. The team comprises social, brand and comms strategists and will work closely with the Marketing Partners, the Media agency, Creative Directors as well as the Global Strategy Team.
It is critical to understand how to both write and interpret (global strategy) and be a champion of outstanding creative work.
The key focus is to deliver communication strategy from upstream in connection with the business strategy, research and insights all the way down to focusing on the tactical part of the communication strategy including analytics and tracking.
Do you have what it takes?• 10-15 years experience of digital and strategic communications
• Experience in developing and adapting global strategies which lead to outstanding creative.
• Experience across a variety of communication disciplines and touch points
• Agency experience is a plus
• Experience in packaged goods a plus
• Experience in a highly ambitious environment
• Experience working in matrix organizations both agency and clients
• Shown winning strategy and creative work with successful business results.
• Believes in constantly driving strategic and creative excellence with passion
* Good understanding of English, written and verbal, and comfortable with presenting
