Since then, my time just deteriorated. I always thought of my dreams of a toy space ship and a functioning crew. I looked through all the sets of 2019 space and wasn’t disappointed. I finally took one home. The LEGO “Space satellite service”, for ten dollars! I was stoked and even picked up two. The unboxing seemed odd but nonetheless satisfying every time you dump it out. It was one of the most pleasant sets if not the most I’ve had in a while. A week later I figured to go and grab another yet bigger set. The new capsules from the “Mars shuttle” looked like it came straight from Interstellar!(Awesome). The $40 gave me high expectations! I had researched quite a bit on the company. I love it, the founders and the people. Mostly the philosophy. “Quality”. Every set I gotten was either awesome or awesomeER. THIS sets been completely photoshopped to the point where the capsules are white. Once opened the capsules are Blueish gray whittled.(I know, it’s a bit to much of a rant for a toy). But I missed the quality. And the space sets I love and hope will continue. Anyways apologies to anyone who made it to these words. That was that. But overall I think it’s a great set that has great pieces for collector-builders. I just don’t know if LEGO is saving money in the long run or if it’s to help the environment.(I had customized it a bit) This years sets was literally a dream come true! Thanks again LEGO! Hoping next year is a better space year for everyone. - September 27th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Fun But PriceyI would recommend this to a friend!Finished this in under an hour. Nothing to fancy but probably save your bucks, $30 is a lil excessive for such a small set. I would recommend this to as a beginner set.Play Experience5.0Value for Money3.0Was this helpful?55Mars Research Shuttle
- September 14th, 2020Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Very fun kit with great value for moneyMattface |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SonI bought this for my 5-year-old son, who is totally mad for all things space at the moment. We put it together in three small sessions across a couple of days, and he was able to do almost all of the building himself with very little help. He was very proud of being able to assemble it! The end result is a great little set and really good value for money. The inclusion of a rover, geodes, two drones an two astronauts alongside the main shuttle means there is a lot of potential for imaginiative play. The builds are also fairly sturdy, although we have had issues with the boosters falling off the shuttle during play and the bay hatch catching on closing.Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty3.0Value for Money5.0Build Time: 3 hrsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Mars Research Shuttle
- December 28th, 2019Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Happy KidI would recommend this to a friend!I built this with my twin son and daughter (age 4). They are so excited. It was a bit too advanced for them to build on their own, but they can't stop playing with it. And building it brought me back to when I was kid playing with legos. I highly recommend this to any future Mars explorer.Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty3.0Build Time: 2 hrsBuilding Experience: Intermediate LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Mars Research Shuttle
