    I have bought a lego city advent calendar every year for the last 5 years and this is the worst one by far. In it, there are 3 children 1 vendor and way too many toys. There is no plot and everything seems random. Instead of buying one, just save yourself money and make a better one yourself.

    AFOL here. I don't might the random placement of the windows. I would like to recommend that the later dates not be on the last row or two. Previous builds from earlier in the month are in the way of opening the doors for those later dates when they are on the bottom row. That's it. Thanks for the ongoing high quality and creativity.

    Every day is Christmas!

    This was the first year we bought a lego advent calendar. My six-year-old son is currently happily obsessed with legos. That is all he wants for Christmas so naturally this was perfect choice. He loves it!!! I have seen a lot of negative reviews on these calendars. I don't have prior experience but I do know that my son is thrilled with this calendar. But parents BEWARE: every day is Christmas! By that I mean just like on Christmas morning your child will bounce out of bed and excitedly demand you go to the calendar at 5:45am! My only critiques and reason I gave 4 not 5 stars is some of the items are hard to identify I think one is a drone. Also (and we are only on day 11) the man mini figure had legs that didn't bend which I found odd. My son wanted him to get to ride the snow mobile and it was weird that he couldn't sit. I will definitely buy one again year next! I love this idea so much. I paid $23 for it and I think it was worth every penny!
