    Just take a snap of your kid's most creative nature scene using LEGO bricks or minifigures and post it on the LEGO Young Explorer Facebook post on the official LEGO page, alongside the inspiration behind their shot. Make sure you use the #LEGOYoungExplorer and tag National Trust.

    • To run the contest on our website
    • To communicate with you on a continuous basis regarding the contest
    • To comply with relevant laws and regulations
    • To profile you in regional and national media should you be our winner
    • To profile with our competition partner – National Trust

    1. Overview: Children aged 12 and under can submit via a parent or guardian, photography depicting LEGO bricks, LEGO Minifigures and LEGO products and a caption (recommended to be no more than 100 words long) explaining the story and inspiration behind the image on LEGO’s Facebook page to a year’s supply of LEGO (up to and not exceeding the value of £600), a free 12-month National Trust family membership and a bundle of National Trust story books

    2. This Competition is sponsored by LEGO System A/S, Aastvej 1, 7190 Billund, Denmark.

    By participating in this Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

    1. Eligibility: To enter this Competition you must be the parent or guardian of a child aged under 12 a resident of the United Kingdom and submit a valid entry to the Competition.

    2. You are not eligible to enter if you are an employee, partner or immediate family member of an employee of the LEGO Group or any third party company or agency directly connected with the creation or administration of this Promotion.

    3. Entry period: You must submit your Entry within the Entry Period, which begins at 3rd Of August2020/9:00am/GMT, and ends 09th September 2020/ 23:00pm/GMT] (“Entry Period”). Any Entries received after this time shall not be valid.

    4. How to enter: During the Entry Period simply submit a photo of a creative nature scene your child has created using just the great outdoors, LEGO bricks and LEGO minifigures to LEGO’s Facebook page under the LEGO Young Explorer Facebook Post, using #LEGOYoungExplorer and tagging @nationaltrust. Alongside the image a caption explaining the story behind the image must be submitted. The entries will be judges on the most creative and imaginative submission.

    5. Limitation on entry: Multiple entries allowed per person during the Entry Period.

    Guidelines:
    • All aspects of the Submission must be in English;
    • [IF A DIGITAL IMAGE IS INVOLVED] The image must be in .jpeg, .tiff or .png format and must not exceed twenty-five MB in size, and;
    • The Submission cannot have been previously published or submitted in any Competition of any kind.

    Content Restrictions:
    • The Submission must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including without limitation, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights infringement;
    • The Submission must not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party affiliated with the Competition;
    • The Submission must show only the entrant’s creation, which must represent an object which is or could be built from LEGO® bricks and other LEGO® elements. Only genuine LEGO® bricks and other LEGO® building toy elements (including LEGO® DUPLO®, LEGO® Technic, and LEGO® MINDSTORMS® elements) may be used in entrant’s creation. Entries must not show any identifiable feature of any person, or any product, trademark, or copyrighted property of any other person or business entity.
    • The Submission must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
    • The Submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
    • The Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state or province where Submission is created.

    1. Intellectual Property: By uploading your Submission you are providing your consent to grant the Sponsor a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual (or for the entire term of duration of intellectual property rights), non-exclusive, sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such Submission in whole or in part, on a worldwide basis, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now known or later developed for Competition or marketing purposes of Sponsor's products. If requested, entrant agrees to sign any documentation that may be required for Sponsor or its designees to fully exploit the above-referenced license grant to the Submission. In granting Sponsor such license, entrant will represent and warrant that the Submission remains unpublished and does not in any way infringe upon any third party’s intellectual property rights.

    2. Prize(s): The Winner will receive [A year’s supply of LEGO (worth up to and not exceeding £600, a free 12-month National Trust family membership (worth £126 and limited to two adults (aged 18+) living at the same address and their children or grandchildren aged 17 or under. Under 5s go free.) and a bundle of National Trust story books ] . The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. The prize is subject to availability and the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

    3. Selection of Potential Winners and Odds of Winning: The Potential Winner(s) will be selected by a designated panel consisting of members of the LEGO Group UK and Ireland Marketing Team The LEGO Group UK and Ireland’s PR Agency Mischief PR, LEGO Play Agent David Pallash, Anita Stevens, Play Specialist at the National Trust and celebrity ambassador Jonathan Benjamin Gill from JSL (the “Judges”). Your Entry will be evaluated according to the following criteria – the creative and imaginative use of LEGO bricks, LEGO minifigures and LEGO products in your nature scene photography, as well as the creative story behind your image. The odds of winning will depend on the creativity and imagination of the entrant, as assessed by the Judges, and on the number of eligible entries received.

    1. Claiming the Prize: The Potential Winner will be contacted via Facebook and telephone by 23rd September 2020]. 
      

    Potential Winners have ten (10) days from the date of notification to complete and return the Winners’ Documents.
    If the Potential Winner cannot be contacted, has not claimed their prize within (5) of days of notification,
    fails to complete the required Winners’ Documents correctly, a new Potential Winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries
    received before the Closing Date, in accordance with the Selection procedure above.

    1. Certification of Potential Winners:  
      

    All Potential Winners will be required to complete and return a set of Winners’ Documents consisting of
    (i) a statement of eligibility; and
    (ii) a release of liability; and
    (iii) a publicity release (except were prohibited by law); and
    (iv) a prize acceptance form. If a Potential Winner is deemed a minor in his/her place of residence, a parent or legal guardian of the Potential Winner will also be required to sign the Winners’ Documents.
    Upon receipt of the fully executed Winners’ Documents, and confirmation by the Judges, the Potential Winner will be certified as the winner (“Winner”).

    12 . Data Privacy: By entering the Competition, you agree to your personal information being used for the purposes described in these Official Rules and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found at http://aboutus.lego.com/enus/corporate/privacypolicy.aspx.
    The company responsible for handling all privacy data is LEGO System A/S, Aastvej 1, 7190 Billund, Denmark.
    By entering the Competition, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Privacy Policy and you agree to its terms.
    13. Additional Rules

    • Entries will not be returned. All Entries, excluding the images submitted in connection with the Competition, shall become the property of Sponsor and may be used for other marketing activities.
    • If you are the Winner, you agree that the Sponsor may use your first name and town or county of residence to announce the Winner of this Promotion.
    • Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, or illegible entry materials, or for entries not received prior to the entry deadline.
    • The Sponsor or FACEBOOKor National Trust] shall not have any liability and does not accept any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by Entrants of this Promotion to the extent permitted by law. Nothing shall exclude the Sponsor’s liability for death and personal injury as a result of its negligence.

    • Any Entry made or attempted in a manner which in the Sponsor’s reasonable opinion is contrary to the spirit of these Official Rules, or by its nature is unfair to other entrants, will be invalid and may result in your disqualification from the Competition.
    • Reporting prize winnings and paying any applicable taxes, governmental fees, and other expenses resulting from winning a prize are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner unless otherwise stated; Winners are encouraged to check local tax implications.
