One of them works great for removing plates and tiles from baseplates. But have you ever put together two 1x2, 1x3, or 1x4 plates and can't separate them? Just snap this onto the top of one of them and snap another one onto the bottom of the other one and pull them apart. I promise you, it WILL separate those stubborn little plates with ease. If you have one of these, good for you. But if you only have one, then get another. And if you're planning on ordering one of these, you'd better make it two. They're pretty cheap and they'll make your life so much easier. I guarantee it.Play Experience1.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Brick Separator

I wish I had gotten one many years before, but it used to be more difficult when it was an online exclusive in green and dark grey (my parents were always poor at online purchases). It works well with the studs and inlets at the front, and the pick at the back. The orange that it now comes in now is not just good for fashion. I have a big Lego collection, but I never lose this thing the way I would lose other pieces; probably because the orange colour makes it stand out. I am glad that this is included with more sets now, so that more builders will get to have one. I got a second one with a large Lord of the Rings set.Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty2.0Value for Money4.0Building Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Brick Separator
- July 30th, 2013Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0What Took So Long?I would recommend this to a friend!Great item for sure. No more breaking your nails for us girls or resorting to your teeth (AGGHHH!!!) to get those particularly pesky pieces apart. Pros: Most sets will come with one of these for FREE now. Look for them in the sets around $35 USD and up. Cons: Kinda what I said in the 'Pros' section. Since most to all of the mid/high price range sets come with one now, why sell this item separately...? Keep in mind that while this is a great tool to get stubborn pieces apart and spare your nails or teeth, they can damage the bricks slightly if not careful. The wedge tip seems a bit thick so even patient use can leave marks on the edges of the separated pieces. Nothing major, but still worth noting. My best!!Play Experience4.0Level of Difficulty2.0Value for Money4.0Building Experience: Intermediate LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Brick Separator
