- July 21st, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Great build, great Lego model!I would recommend this to a friend!Born in the late 60s my childhood was much influenced by NASA's achievements with the Apollo project. 52 years later this Lego Saturn V encapsulates all of my childhood excitement and joy. Fascinating build and stunning end results. I simply love this rocket, not least because it is HUGE! The addition of the astronauts, LEM, and capsule are really brilliant Highly recommended. - January 1st, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0I would recommend this to a friend!I loved building it so very much but when it came to the mini lunar lander ( I recommend building the big one as well). On step 313 the picture showed putting a piece all the way in and in doing so I broke my first lego piece after building so many sets. I love building that please don’t let that sway your opinion on getting this set. By far my favorite build.5 January 2021Sarah, LEGO® Customer ServiceWe're so glad you liked the build, but we're sorry you broke a brick! - January 24th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Impressive build, but few questions remainMerit |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI thought about buying this set for years until Lego quit producing it and I thought that was that. It was a great surprise to discover that this was back in stock so I didn't hesitate so much this time and bought it for myself almost instantly. It was a satisfying build as always with bigger Lego sets, but even after finishing this I still have some questions about some parts of its instructions. I wrote about this to the customer service, but I didn't get a reply, so I just mention this here again: what is depicted on page 94 (instruction No. 156), seems to be unachievable since there just isn't space for a brick combination placement like this. Maybe Lego can review that part of the instructions? That step is also the one thing that made me put this set on hold for almost 3 weeks, because due this I encountered problems with instruction No. 236 and 237 on pages 130 and 131, respectively. Sure, I found out that had missed a brick in each of these brick combinations and was trying to place them in a wrong way at first, but even after correcting it, I still am not completely satisfied with the result of the relevant part of the set. Doesn't look as neat and flush with the surface as it should be. Then again, anything isn't loose and it is a great set for displaying. Its length is crazy impressive.Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money5.0Building Experience: Intermediate LEGO builderWas this helpful?55LEGO® NASA Apollo Saturn V
