  Great looking set, broken and missing pieces

  I would recommend this to a friend!

  Was super anxious to build this set after a stressful day at work. Bag 2, a the table leg was missing and in it's place was a 2x2 brown tile. I thought it odd, so I check through the entire booklet and 2x2 brown tiles weren't used till bag 9. I left a pic of all spare parts, there's a random 2x2 tile where the 2x1 bench leg should be. Bag 7, a black stud piece for the chair was missing which isn't a big deal as they're extras in the set, but it can be an issue, especially if a MOC uses all extra pieces. Bag 8, got to step 138, took the staircase out the bag and the 2x1 landing connection at the top of the staircase was broken and each step run is strained. You can see the plastic stress deformation on each step connection. This is the 11th set I've built this year and first set with missing pieces and broken ones ever (ironically in one set). Luckily nothing else was missing/broken. But this took away from the building experience as I was really upset a piece was missing early on in the build and I was holding my breath till the end praying nothing else was missing or broken. Put in orders for replacement parts and just waiting now.

  I was very excited to see this historically accurate medieval blacksmith shop. The timber framing and details are amazing. I'm a medieval reenactor and this is my period of reenactment and it surpassed my expectations. I loved building every minute of it. I need more. Manor house? Market? Church? Let's get a village going! Thank you Lego ideas!

  Genuinely interesting set.

  I would recommend this to a friend!

  I have bought this after seeing it being on promotion in one of the markets, and to be honest I did not expect it to be so much fun while building. Bricks are divided into 14 bags and separated for larger base plates. Instruction is very easy to follow with marked elements that are being used in the current step and the whole building is quite easy to build. The amount of details is really good, starting from tree branches and pumpkin behind the building, on single bricks in the walls and green roof tiles (indicating that are covered with patina) finishing. The Colour pallet has been picked very well, every colour fits where it is and there are no odd shades like in some other sets where suddenly one or two bricks have a weird slightly different tone when compared to the ones around them. There are no stickers in this set, all images are printed directly on bricks, I believe this is the way Lego should go in the future and completely resign from separate sticker sheets. I don’t really know what to write more about this set apart of praises as it's really well thought out and executed.

  I haven't had a set for myself in a long time. I've always been a fan of medieval themes, and i missed them dearly. Just by looking at this set i was immediately hooked. ordered it, and was not disappointed. Every phase was a pleasant thrill to assemble. such a rewarding build! took my time, absorbed every brick clicking together. the amount of details in this set is wonderful. the passion of the designer/s is felt all along the way. so many seemingly small aspects here got a whole lot of love and attention. I could feel myself being drawn in s i built it, imagining what it would be like to be there in person. i had a magical time building this, it would make an awesome piece to display and explore. If you feel you wanna buy this too - do not hesitate. 110% fun and satisfaction guaranteed.
