I would recommend this to a friend!
My kit had lots of quality control issues. There were about 5 parts in the box that were outside of the sealed bags (from various bags), 4 of which I needed. My kit was also missing 2 pieces. I understand it occasionally happens that a kit is missing a piece, and I've already got replacements ordered through Lego, but the free floating pieces are something I haven't seen before. I'm not a fan of the black background on the instructions, they can be difficult to see. However I had a few pages that had poor printing that made if difficult to determine the specific piece and number needed. Finally, the mirror stickers are too small and the cut was not lined up properly, so I have a black line printed across the edge of all of my mirror stickers. If you look at the leftover sticker sheet, there is tons of material left over. The stickers could have been larger to actually fill up the whole part and make applying them easier, not to mention they could have been spaced out more to prevent the inaccurate cutting across the printed line. With that said, it was a fun set to build and I liked seeing how the landing gear was assembled as I waited to see how it operated. It looks cool with the stands and had similar joys from the Saturn V during build. It was just soured slightly with the quality control issues18 August 2021Jane, LEGO® Customer ServiceOh no! We're sorry for the issues you've had while building. We're glad you reached out for replacement parts! You'll be happy to hear we plan on moving away from the dark building instruction pages based on comments from fans like yourself! I loved every moment of the build! I only suffered with the inner stickers of the cover, it was very difficult to apply precisely due to the crunchy surface and the inner arc. But other than that, it's really a perfect set!Play Experience5.0Building Experience4.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?

This has by far been one of the best builds I have done. My son and I are space freaks and the sheer size and detail in this model is outstanding. The fact that you can display separate or together really sets this off but also the functionality of the landing gear and flaps gives it a more awe. Someone really took their time in designing this model and did a fantastic job. I wish they would come out with a expansion pack to give it a fuel tank, solid rocket boosters and launch pad. If they had it I'd pay for it. You won't be disappointed in this.Play Experience4.0Building Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?
