The Galaxy Has Landed: LEGO Star Wars™ Brings May The Fourth to Malaysia

May the 4th Be With You! This Star Wars Day, The LEGO Group is bringing the galaxy to Malaysia with its most exciting LEGO Star Wars™ fan experience to date. Opening at LG2 Orange Concourse at Sunway Pyramid from 29 April to 10 May 2026, the event is an immersive celebration of the Star Wars universe - timed to mark May The Fourth and build anticipation for the worldwide theatrical release of The Mandalorian & Grogu on 22 May 2026.

From an empire-inspired installation that channels the dark grandeur of Darth Vader's stronghold, this year's activation is designed to unite fans of all ages - children, parents, and collectors alike in a shared celebration of creativity, play, and the enduring power of the Force.
Enter the Empire: An Immersive Fan Installation

At the heart of the experience stands a fortress-inspired installation styled after Darth Vader's iconic stronghold - a centrepiece anchored by a towering castle structure commanding the entire concourse. Fans will be greeted with a 6' x 6' Death Star hologram schematic constructed entirely from LEGO bricks that serves as the event's most striking visual spectacle.

Visitors will then venture into the Hyperspace Tunnel, a walkthrough corridor below the Darth Vader castle that takes guests on a journey through hyperspace, lined with a curated display of LEGO Star Wars™ sets. From the classic 10018 Darth Maul bust to the brand-new 75442 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter™, the tunnel is an homage to 27 years of LEGO Star Wars™ history.

LEGO 3D character models including C-3PO, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Kylo Ren, the Mando & Grogu duo, Chewbacca, Rey, and Yoda populate the space alongside Disney models of BB-8, R2-D2, Chewbacca, and a Death Trooper. Several fan-built dioramas showcase battle scenes, add a creative, community-driven dimension to the space, which also doubles as an onground contest. Whilst a photo opportunity with a Star Wars Throne Chair flanked by Imperial Guards rounds out the space.

Join the Playful Side: Activities for All Fans

The LEGO May The Fourth pop-up event is packed with hands-on activities designed to bring fans deeper into the galaxy. Fans who complete all three booth activities will receive one of three exclusive Malaysia-themed LEGO Star Wars™ collectible postcards, complimentary while stocks last - a fitting keepsake of the galaxy's biggest fan celebration, right here in Malaysia. Beyond the postcard challenge, fans aged 12 years old and below can drop in to build a miniature LEGO Landspeeder at the Make & Take session.

For those venturing beyond the pop-up, a troupe of Star Wars cosplayers and mascots will be making their presence at Sunway Pyramid on selected dates during the event period. Fans who spot a Jedi fan in Sunway Pyramid between 9-10 May and approach the Jedi fan with the magic words, "May the 4th be with you," will stand a chance to walk away with a pair of movie tickets to The Mandalorian & Grogu.
