Cat Costume Girl

    Description

“Me-yow! This party is purrr-fect!” The Cat Costume Girl just adores parties. She gets to climb on all of the furniture and make lots of new friends, and if she “accidentally” knocks something off of a table, nobody even gets mad. From her whiskers to her tail-tip, the Cat Costume Girl is having a great time at the 40th anniversary celebration of the modern LEGO® Minifigure. There are gift boxes to climb into, balloons to pounce on, and the Elephant Costume Girl even brought a mouse that she can chase. If things around here get any more exciting, she just might have to curl up in a sunbeam and take a nap!

          FRIGHTENING KNIGHT

“Boo! Boo who? Boo ME!” The Frightening Knight is very, very scary. No one is quite certain just what makes him so scary. Maybe it’s his gravelly, growly voice. Maybe it’s his scowling expression, or his intimidating armor and helmet, or his spiky morning star weapon, or the angry-looking bear on his shield. Or maybe he just smells scary somehow. Being frightening isn’t just the Frightening Knight’s name – it’s also his great passion in life. If he doesn’t leave everybody who sees him shaking in their boots, then he feels like he hasn’t done his job right. All the bad guys agree that he’s pretty much the scariest Minifigure around. Even the legendary Fright Knights kicked him out for being just too scary. He could probably be a little less scary if he tried…but why would he ever want that?

            The Swamp Creature

This washed-up warrior may be a little green around the gills, but he is still willing to go ‘kraken’ the whip, wading into battle to defend Apocalypseburg.

              ASTRONAUT

“That’s one small plate for a Minifigure, one giant brick for minifigure-kind!” All his life, the Astronaut has been obsessed with exploring outer space. He read every book he could find about the space program, built his own pretend rocket-ships out of spare bricks, and even tried eating the astronaut way – out of a tube. That got messy fast. Now that he’s made his way through real astronaut training, the Astronaut is finally on his way to his first new planet. He can’t wait to get there! He’s brought a flag to plant on the surface and everything. He wonders if he’ll encounter any unusual life forms when he arrives. If he does, he hopes they like the spiffy new beard he grew during his long space voyage!

                Connoisseur

“I’ve never seen one finer than this! I rate it a 6 out of 10.” The ever-critical Connoisseur is the world’s greatest master of good taste. His vast knowledge extends to fashion, architecture, cuisine, and which colors go well with which other colors (black and white with a hint of red are the best, of course). All of the most successful artists, designers and interior directors go to him for advice and opinions, and he is more than happy to share his personal appraisals of their work. The Connoisseur may be hard to please, but if he likes what you’ve done, then you can be sure that you’ll have a lifelong fan – that’s why he’ll only eat baguettes freshly baked by the Gourmet Chef. Vampire Bat

“What a lovely day!” The clever and stealthy Vampire Bat may be his monster master’s chief hench-bat, but he isn’t entirely thrilled by wicked schemes to eclipse the sun and plunge the world into eternal darkness. After all, he might be one of the children of the night, but that doesn’t mean he wants to spend all his time there! In fact, the Vampire Bat actually loves being out in the daylight. Sunny days at the beach are his idea of perfection (though he does get a lot of sand in his fur and it’s not easy to see through the glare when your eyes are so well-adapted to the dark). Now that there are a bunch of human monster-fighters trying to foil his master’s plans, he’s secretly rooting for them to win!

                    Donald Duck

Donald Duck is clever and energetic, with a hot-headed temper that often gets the best of him. He’s impatient, stubborn, easily flustered and loves to be the center of attention, but deep down he’s got a heart of gold and still gets shy around his girlfriend Daisy. Donald’s adventures with his best friends Mickey and Goofy are full of fun, laughter, and often a little trouble!

                      1978 Police Officer

“It’s been forty years, but I haven’t aged a day!” Here he is, the famous minifigure who started it all! The friendly Police Officer was one of the very first modern LEGO® Minifigures from the first three LEGO Play Themes of Town, Castle, and Space. He’s even got a mini version of the box from his classic LEGO set. What an amazing adventure he’s had! The 1978 Police Officer may have replaced his original torso sticker with a painted uniform, and his little Town may have grown up into a giant LEGO City, but he’s still the same smiling character that kids were playing and building with 40 years ago. He couldn’t be happier than he is at this party that all of the other minifigures are throwing to celebrate his birthday. Will you discover this hard-to-find fellow in your next LEGO Minifigures bag?

                        Santa

“Ho ho ho!” Rumor has it that a legendary minifigure known as Santa comes flying through the sky on his sleigh to give out shiny new bricks to anyone who needs to get some building done. Then, as soon as he’s done, he’s off on his way again with a belly-shaking laugh. But who is this jolly old man of mystery? He’s supposed to live up at the North Pole, but the LEGO® Arctic team never reported running into him during their millennial expedition. And where does he get all of those bricks, if not at the LEGO factory in Denmark? The world may never know for sure!

                          Lederhosen Guy

“Hello! Do you like lederhosen?” The Lederhosen Guy is extremely proud of his fine leather breeches. In fact, there’s probably no one else around who’s quite so fond of lederhosen. That’s how you become known as the Lederhosen Guy, instead of just some guy who happens to wear lederhosen! The Lederhosen Guy really is a giant fan of lederhosen. He goes to lederhosen conventions, subscribes to lederhosen magazines, and even writes a lederhosen blog. He also enjoys attending cultural festivals with his friends the Highland Battler and the Bagpiper. They may not share his love of lederhosen, but at least they agree that it’s nice to feel the breeze on their knees!

                            Banshee

“I’ve got bad news, and more bad news…” Poor Banshee. It’s not her fault that her job is to warn people about bad news in their future. And she does it very well, with all of the woeful weeping and wailing that you might expect from an ancient spirit of ill omen. But nobody likes to hear her tidings of misfortune, and so she finds herself unwelcome wherever she goes. It’s hard to make friends when you’re compelled to inform your fellow Minifigures that they’re going to stub their toes, or misplace their phones, or forget to water their plants. It’s not like the Banshee causes the problems herself; she’s just cursed with the ability to see that they’re going to happen. For some reason, though, everybody seems to blame her anyway. On the bright side, she’s recently become pen pals with the Sad Clown, who just loves getting bad news!

Now, middle-aged insurance claims adjuster Bob Parr has got to get back in shape and unite with his family to save the planet from the forces of evil as the super-strong, super-durable Mr. Incredible once more. He might think the best years of his life are in the past, but what he will discover is that his family is his greatest adventure.
