Digital Wellbeing

Today, children are growing up in a digital world and are spending more time online.

We want, and have an obligation, to deliver world-class safety-by-design experiences that enable children to engage safely online while still having fun and learning through digital play.

In 2013, the LEGO Group became the first toy company to sign up to the Children’s Rights and Business Principles, developed by the United Nations Global Compact, Save the Children and UNICEF.

As part of our continued partnership with UNICEF (partnership since 2014) we are committed to promoting children’s rights and reflecting best practices, and to work together to inspire other businesses to adopt child safeguarding policies, also within the digital environment.

We believe in empowering children to become capable digital citizens. Learning to engage safely online, while having fun is a rewarding way. For us it is not just about making safe products, but also creating a safe digital environment for children exploring our online experiences.
