LEGO Group among the 10 most highly regarded companies in the world
Today, Reputation Institute released the annual RepTrak®100 report, showing that the LEGO Group’s global RepTrak Pulse remained stable at last year’s high level. This leads to a rank as number 6 on the list of the most regarded companies in the world when it comes to corporate reputation.
Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Julia Goldin, comments on the results:
“We are very satisfied to be recognised among the Top 10 most highly regarded companies in the world for the 6th consecutive year. It is a testimony to the fact that people across the world appreciate the LEGO Group, what we stand for and what we do.”
The new report comes after a year where the LEGO Group reached approximately 100 million children around the world with LEGO® experiences.
“2015 was an incredible year. Providing engaging play experiences to children that help them learn and develop is our most important contribution to the world. We also strive to provide a positive impact on the society and the environment when conducting business, engaging with partners, local communities etc. Last but not least, we focus on being a safe, motivating and satisfying workplace for the more than 17,000 dedicated colleagues around the world. And they can take great pride in this result,” says Julia Goldin.
The RepTrak® study developed by Reputation Institute measures the corporate reputation of 100 companies by asking the general public in 15 countries around the world questions about the emotional appeal of each company. Furthermore, the study scores the companies on seven dimensions: Products & Services, Innovation, Workplace, Governance, Citizenship, Leadership and Performance. This year, the LEGO Group results show a stable or increasing trend across the seven dimensions.
Managing Director Henrik Strøier, Reputation Institute says:
“The success of the LEGO Group and the affinity towards its business conduct and wonderful products once again places the Group neck to neck with the most reputable companies in the 2016 RepTrak® survey. The LEGO Group's commitment to creativity, upright business conduct and concern for both people and planet sets the standard for how global companies are expected to act.”
And he adds:
“To me the LEGO Group constitutes what it takes to excel in the modern marketplace and the Group is as a stellar example of an organisation that knows how to strike a perfect balance between making money and doing good.”
