I also like the dark blue mixed in with the white, it makes the land pop out in a unique way. The build was fun, at times it was a little tiring, but at the end it all paid off! The map when completed seems a bit floppy, and sometimes I am afraid of it breaking, but it really isn't a big problem. I so enjoyed the soundtrack that you can listen to while you build, (FYI the soundtrack is not music, but kind of like a podcast about the set). I haven't yet customized it, but I look forward to it!! This is overall such a good set to look at or play around with, or whatever you want to do with it. It is definitely worth the money if you're thinking about buying this set. Thank you LEGO so much for such an exciting build, and such an amazing display!Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55World Map

The map really comes together throughout, however, I would suggest tackling this one with a partner. I found myself going through the motions around 50% of the way through given the repetition associated with using the same circle rounds. That said, the quality is certainly there you will be proud of the end result.Play Experience2.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?45World Map

I am enjoying the heck out of this build; trying different methods of building the panels (all of one color, by rows, outside in). Going to design a compass rose (with my antarctic whites? extra pieces?) and get creative on the marker cones, such as using pennants or animals and connecting long trips with string. Love it!!!Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55World Map

Many a time I would finish a tile and have no recollection of the steps I took. I would put my headphones on and let my mind wonder. It took me a few days to complete, I didn’t rush to complete, just enjoyed placing every dot! Find a method that works for you; definitely empty the pieces into various dishes and away you go!Play Experience4.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?45World Map
