Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Scooby Scooby Doo! Mansion!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just finished building the mansion and I think Lego did a pretty good job on this one. A fairly easy build, it has several unique pieces. There are also several little fun additions to the haunted mansion-like the swinging spiky ball or the hidden spot built into the floor. I thought it was pretty well thought out except for one tiny detail. Shaggy's motorcycle. The side car should fit Scooby Doo in it, but Scooby just doesn't quite fit. I know the picture shows Velma in it, but really, Scooby should fit as well. Overall, one of the best kits in the series and I do recommend it if you're a Scooby fan.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?

My wife loves Scooby Doo but never had any Lego. I bought her this and the rest of the collection for her birthday this year. Not only did she build them, but she displays them in her office. Thank you for making the perfect set for me to share my hobby with my wife.Play Experience5.0Value for Money4.0Was this helpful?

Like, it's Shaggy here. Like I said in my review for Mummy Museum Mystery, man, these sets are, like, awesome. It's nice to see me in, like, Lego form. And Scooby-Doo too. Like, this set wasn't exactly easy to build, but it wasn't hard. It did take a long time. Seeing all those ghouls we've faced in the past really creeped me out. Like, I almost thought I was live bait for a vampire. Anyway, this set is totally groovy. That man eating plant was, like, pretty creepy. At least there was a hamburger. Daphne and Velma look a lot like they do whenever I see them, so that's good. I like the colors of the mansion, and, like, the overall way the set was built. Honestly, it reminds me of a couple of the creepiest mansions we've ever been to put into one. I would, like, totally recommend this set to a fan of me! Or Scooby-Doo! Or Lego! It's worth the money. Oh, and, like, while you're at it, pick up all the other sets too. Um... Shaggy-Daggy-Doo?Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?

This set looks brilliant when finished; the purple roof is fantastic, but it's not really a plaything, more of a display set. This is absolutely fine by me, however I thought the construction process could be a bit tedious at times. The two side rooms are exciting to build, and the roof "flap" is part of that. The main tower is more delicate. I love anything mechanical, but the gears which connect the clock hand to the rotating panels are very frustrating. I've tried and tried to line the gears so that the bat is right in the center of the display at 12 o'clock, but no, there's no way to have the horizontal and vertical axis line up. So the bat shows up at 11:58 or 12:02, depensing on how the hand or the internal gears are set up. That's underwhelming. The vines on the side of the house won't stop falling either.Play Experience3.0Value for Money4.0Was this helpful?
