This quite possibly may be the greatest Lego set in modern times. Where do I start? First of all, price/piece count ratio is fantastic. No stickers, just beautifully printed bricks. High playability with the multi-stage rocket, mini moon lander, and splashdown capsule with four microfigures. Displays either horizontally or vertically, making it easy to fit into most rooms. Huge historical significance, even the piece count is 1969. Novel build technique for the core of the rocket. Gorgeous box. Neat instructions with photos and facts about the '60s space program. I bought this for my 10yo son because he loves lego and loves rockets. I wasn't in the least bit worried if he would struggle with a set designed for those 16 years and older. After each rocket assembly he was getting more excited. He couldn't wait to complete the build to see how big this set actually is. Fully built, it comes up to his chest. It is unusually sturdy for its size: the three sections come apart with a little effort but they hold together very well when a 10year old is flying it around the house. Got this set because I thought it would be fun, I ordered it and it arrived in 6 days. While building the set the size of it really amazed me! I'm 5ft and this set was almost up to my shoulders. The rocket looks very realistic and very detailed. Overall 10/10Play Experience4.0
