This is quite an awesome build! It’s fun amd whimsical… lots of details and a beautiful display. Love the mini chopsticks (got 2 extras) . Was not too crazy with the 3 sheets of stickers and some of them could have been printed pieces. Overall, I would totally recommend both for kids playability or adult collection. I have been a fan of the Monkie Kid theme since the day the first wave of sets launched. I own all minus a couple, and without a shadow of a doubt this new set is the best of the best. It takes everything that’s so wonderful about this world and characters and crams it all into an affordably colorful set. As a huge fan, as i’m sure everyone else is, of the Ninjago City modular builds, this proves as a spritual partner while also breathing on it’s own. The play features are wonderful and the MONORAIL(!!!) is so amazing to see in a new set, regardless of simply using the coaster track pieces. I adore this set. I was interested in this set when I picked it up, but it was not one I was expecting to fall in love with, and after building this set it has become one of my absolute favorites. The details are incredibly impressive, the style is gorgeous and whimsical, and the scope of the set given the price tag is much larger than I expected. This is my first Monkie Kid set, purchased for the unique features and storied-city design. It was super fun to build. Every shop in the city is its own interesting little mini build you can also lay out into a street format of shops and restaurants. After watching some of the Monkie Kid series I'm blown away by the humor and all the easter eggs built into the set. For unique parts and design alone, this set is amazing, even if you aren't into the theme. Great selection of minifigures. The only thing I didnt understand is the design of the top section of track above the tram. It folds up & down but does not actually hold the tram in place and seems to have no function. The finished design is also a bit strange with only one 2x2 flat tile on one end and two light gray parts sticking up. Maybe this is a ref I don't get, or the starting point for adding another set but it looks unfinished in an otherwise perfect set that delights from every angle.Play Experience5.0Building Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?
