Education is a journey - and Inge is with teachers and children every step of the way. As a Senior UX Designer, her goal is to enhance digital learning experiences - including her own.

“My first priority is to support educators. Teachers are the vital link between children and our products. So I try to figure out the digital tools that they need, whether it’s to prepare for a lesson or to make the process of learning more engaging for everyone. This means having a complete understanding of the entire user journey, from the teacher’s viewpoint and the students’ experience."

Inge's design process is a collaborative journey, involving colleagues from diverse backgrounds and expertise.

“Creativity thrives when we, as colleagues with different perspective and knowledge, get together and discuss how to solve a problem. I enjoy the core thing in my job: to understand the complexity of the actual problem and designing a better and more simple solution that solves it."

“I believe my superpower as a UX Designer is to investigate and understand core needs and solve these in meaningful and tangible manner. Sometimes it takes several iterations, tests, sketches and prototypes to get to the best solution. But this is the joy of what we do - making innovation happen."

"I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. By incorporating playful elements into our digital tools, we can create experiences that spark curiosity and motivate students to explore and learn."

Inge's belief in the benefits of a playful approach extends beyond her design work too.

“I often get to play with my closest colleagues - it’s a great way of problem solving and refreshing our minds. It brings us closer to our subject matter, each other and our users. My job is quite playful in general, but can you have too much play in your life? I don’t think so.”

The satisfaction Inge finds in seeing her designs come to life in classrooms is clearly a huge source of motivation for her.

"Witnessing the positive impact that our digital tools have on teachers and students is incredibly rewarding. It's a constant reminder of the importance of our work and the difference we can make in education."

Inge has very much made herself at home in our collaborative culture. This, she believes, is essential for her own development, as well as creating pioneering solutions:

“I love the way our cross-functional team works together and that colleagues understand what we can bring to the overall product experience. We’re a part of something important, something valuable. I’m learning all the time, and I can channel this positively into the impact that I have - whether it’s my own kids or my family of teachers.”
