Play Makes Anything Possible

Play Makes Anything Possible

The LEGO Group is proud to be a national sponsor of UEFA Women’s EURO 2022.

Our Mission

We want to ensure that any child, regardless of gender, feels they can build anything they like,
playing in a way that will help them develop and realise their unique talent. We're committed to making LEGO play
more inclusive and ensuring that children's creative ambitions, both now and in the future,
are not limited by gender stereotypes.

“The benefits of creative play, such as building confidence, creativity and communication skills, are felt by all children,”
says Julia Goldin, Chief Marketing Officer at the LEGO Group. “And yet we still experience age-old stereotypes
that label activities as only being suitable for one specific gender. At the LEGO Group, we know
we have a role to play in putting this right”.

Steph Houghton, 34

Manchester City and England Centre-back “I’m happy to be working with the LEGO Group as part of their partnership with the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022. Being two of the nation’s favourite hobbies, LEGO play and football can both play a vital role in overcoming old fashioned gender stereotypes and inspiring positive change.”

Alex Scott, 37

Sports Presenter & Ex- England Player “I’m passionate about inspiring kids to reach their full potential, so I’m excited to see the LEGO Group partnering with the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022.
