  My 6-year-old nephews had a blast with this we played with it for at least two or three hours it was easy to put together and figure out what the directions and it made their day. It's a great thing to use on like a rainy day or the kids just going to stay in for the day it was very cool making your own little videos seeing the videos on your phone I love the interaction the kids get with it and you can you could even use it as a learning tool.and because I have two nephews I now have to go buy another one because of how big of a hit it was. I'm definitely recommending this to as many people as I can.

  What a fail. Nice minifig though.

  Bought this for the minifig since I'm collecting pirates. It has pretty great detailing, the dots-like thing on the back is nifty and the the tiles are useful as albums or posters for custom stuff. Though the brick separator included is useless for this set. The app.. What a piece of junk. IOS exclusive(this could have been a webapp) every asset required is downloaded as needed anyway. so my experience was 35 minutes of download and loading screens(kids are so patient amirite?). The scan brought up incorrect tiles and then finally crashed twice before It could do anything. Having seen the end result footage I wasn't impressed. But honestly lego needs to give up on this idea...especially with shoddy half-hearted attempts like with this and hidden side. Parent buy lego to get kids off their phones... and a tik-tok clone that doesn't allow sharing is completely redundant.

  great modernisation of lego

  Lego have done a great job of integrating their playing pieces along with a mobile phone app. My 7 year old son spends a lot of time on his phone and computer, so this was a good idea to get to be creative with lego, as it tapped into is use of technology. The beatbox seemed smaller than I was expecting, but that didn't seem to matter as the music videos that it produces are well scaled and you can't really tell what size the 'stage' is on the video. I'd definitely recommend this as a way to get your more technology focused kids playing with lego, even if they have never done so before!

  Got this for my kids and they seem to enjoy it. The bad part is that you have to have your phone with most recent software update to install the app. I played around with the app some didn’t get to pick the songs and the character doesn’t move as much as you’d think. Also it’s picky about when selecting a stage for the music video. The kids played with it some but haven’t really taken to it. The overall experience might get better once a person gets more familiar with it. I believe it would also be better if there was more than one figure include in the beat box and that they’d interact more in app. All in all I can’t say I’d get this product again or that I’m sure that I’d invest in other figures for it.
