- January 2nd, 2019Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Better Than Last Year's ;)Nolan23 |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI showed up at the Lego store 20 minutes early on January 1st, 2019 to purchase this set, and boy, was it worth it! When the pictures were first released, I was skeptical, but when I assembled it, I loved it. There are tons of great details and functional parts (Funny jokes too)! I am somewhat disappointed with the price, but why am I gonna complain when it will retire and hold its value, and maybe even plus some! Not sure which building to put this one next to yet, but I will figure it out! I would definitely recommend this set to all people, old and young! Happy new year, everyone, and happy building!Play Experience4.0Level of Difficulty3.0Value for Money5.0Build Time: 4 hrs 47 minsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Corner Garage
- April 25th, 2019Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Different can be goodI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfThe expert modular series is obviously top notch every time. The Corner Garage is no exception, but it being a little different can catch you by surprise. I prefer exterior over interior, and this does not dissapoint. I do agree another vehicle could have been added for the tow truck. The lift for a car, and the way you open the garage door was excellent. The vet office is detailed, and very nice. The top floor apartment leaves some to be desired. However, the gas pump area fits perfect in a corner lot. Only problem with the modulars is they come out once a year. I mean the release 1000 Star Wars sets, we could do with 2 a year!!! - March 1st, 2019Average rating3out of 5 stars3.0Underwhelming interiorI would recommend this to a friend! The exterior looks great, as ever. The Dark Orange really pops, especially in relation to other modular buildings. Overall I really like the way this set looks amongst my row of modulars. And in terms of value per piece this one is a good deal. Where the set underwhelms is in the interior, especially on the ground floor. Other modulars have a tiled first floor, for example, and multiple rooms and features inside. This is a bare-baseplate, single-room interior. The level of detail on the inside is not very high. The 2nd and 3rd floor contain a Vet's office and an apartment, which are both more detailed than the Garage, but still on the plain side.Play Experience3.0Level of Difficulty2.0Value for Money3.0Build Time: 6 hrsWas this helpful?35Corner Garage
- January 11th, 2019Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0Good, but not great.Alliesco |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfIn comparison to other regular size modulars, there's not a lot to it. Fewer fun extras less floor space and no full division between different sections. We're it a real building, you could wander between the garage, animal care centre and the apartment with no doors or walls to stop you. This set is also following the trend of each year there is less for more money. Less interesting features, less building, less satisfaction. If you're happy to wait a while til the price comes down, you'll get better value for your money.Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money3.0Build Time: 7 hrsBuilding Experience: Intermediate LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Corner Garage
