Build your bedroom using LEGO® bricks

Steps

• Step 1

  Make a tiny copy of your bed

  

  Look at your bed. Is it high or low? Does it have a headboard? Are there any drawers or boxes underneath?
• Step 2

  Make your bedroom floor, walls, door and windows

  

  Use large baseplates to make the floor.

  Top tip: If you don’t have a large enough plate, try drawing out the layout of your room and placing your builds on top.
• Step 3

  Make the rest of your furniture

  

  Pick the most important bits first, like wardrobes and drawers, then move on to the little bits of furniture. How many ways can you make a lamp?
• Step 4

  Move your furniture into your brick bedroom

  

  Why do you think the furniture goes where it goes? How would the room feel if you rearranged things? Is there anything you’d like to change?
• Step 5

  Add some detail

  

  Is there anything else you want to add – like toys, books or clothes? When you’re finished, put your brick bedroom next to your real bed. Sweet dreams!
