Looking for something special? Meet Bronte. She’ll help you find it. 🔭
Bronte is our Senior Discoverability Manager. Her story shows us how recognising that people matter, and embracing exploration, makes a whole world of difference.
“The heart of my role is making sure everyone who comes to LEGO.com can find exactly what they’re looking for; however they want to find it, wherever they are in the world. Whether they’re browsing for the latest Star Wars build or looking for a unique gift, it’s my job to create seamless digital experiences that allow fans to uncover the joy of LEGO® sets with ease.”
“We’ve all been in situations where we can’t find what we’re looking for online or in real life - it’s so frustrating. My work aims to remove barriers so shoppers can easily explore. It ties into everything from key product launches to major promotions.”
This year, Bronte will be celebrating her five-year anniversary with us - and she’s as energised now as when she started.

“One of things I find most exciting is the scale of the cross-functional projects I work on. They bring every corner of the business together, from our fantastic Product squads, to the superstars across Trading and Marketing. I love being part of projects like May the 4th and Black Friday. It’s hard work but so rewarding to see our efforts translate to record-breaking results.”
However, the magic isn’t just in the products or the campaigns—it’s also in the people and the opportunities Bronte’s discovered here.
“In my interview, I asked what the best thing about working at the LEGO Group was, and the answer was ‘the people.’ Now that’s exactly what I’d say too - and with good reason. I joined the team right at the start of lockdown, and it amazed me how close I felt to my colleagues, even though I didn’t meet them in person for a long time.”

“The journey I’ve been on has also allowed me to evolve in all kinds of ways. My current role as Senior Manager for Discoverability is brand new to the business as of this year. My previous role as Trading Manager was also newly created when I was hired in 2020. So, I’ve had two opportunities to take a role and make it my own. When I think about the ability I’ve had to shape my career, I feel so lucky.”
“I’m continually impressed by how much value is placed on learning and development too. We have access to LinkedIn Learning, tonnes of courses, and there’s also a great open culture of reaching out to colleagues if you want to understand more about different roles and areas of the business.”
Bronte credits her people leader, Lori, for enabling her growth. “She has such an inquisitive mind and challenges me through thought-provoking questions… and she’s always ready with a great book recommendation.”
In a role that spans so many different countries and cultures, Bronte finds inspiration in the dynamic challenges she faces daily.

“Optimising our Internal Search experience on LEGO.com is like a giant puzzle that’s always changing. You’re in a very direct line of communication with the shopper, and what they’re searching for is always evolving and shifting.”
“What a Shopper searches for in France can be very different from what shoppers look for in Poland, Mexico, or Japan. Anticipating those needs is definitely a challenge, but a fun one.”
“At the end of the day, being part of the Global Ecommerce team is about making sure that every person who comes to LEGO.com leaves with a little bit of the magic. That’s my job and I love it.”
