From UX Design to LEGO® Learning Detective: Meet Jasmin.
Jasmin’s journey with us has only just begun but it’s already been anything but ordinary. After joining us in UX design, her passion for research and learning led her to her current role as an Efficacy & Insights Partner.
“Imagine being a LEGO® Detective whose mission is to ensure every LEGO Education set is not just fun but also a powerful learning tool. Well, that's my role as part of the Efficacy & Insights team.”
Jasmin is no stranger to the LEGO Group. Her background in product development had already seen her collaborate with the LEGO Foundation. This, she believes, was the ideal preparation for this exciting new opportunity.
"It’s my job to observe how children interact with LEGO Education sets. This helps me to figure out what it is that sparks their curiosity and enables them to learn, understand and, of course, have fun. It’s fascinating really and so rewarding to see what triggers a smile as they play, build and learn."
“Armed with this evidence, I can then use it to inform the design of future LEGO Education products, ensuring they're both engaging and educational."
Jasmin is involved in shaping the very foundation of efficacy and learning research at LEGO Education.
"We're constantly experimenting with new methods, formats, and theories. It's an exciting time to be part of this team, as we're developing the frameworks that will guide our work and ensure that LEGO Education products deliver maximum value."
Jasmin's role has also been instrumental in her own learning and professional growth:
"I've had the opportunity to develop skills in presenting complex information in a way that's accessible to a wider audience. I've also embraced a mindset of curiosity, constantly asking questions and viewing challenges as opportunities to grow."
