As our new producer for analytics, you should have a keen interest in driving the adoption of tools and processes that help our development teams and business partners move past opinions to using data, to know what impact our digital experiences have, and where they need to improve. We have worked with analytics for years and are well on our way, but we want to take further steps in making decisions based on insights instead of opinions. That said, children’s rights & security comes above all. Thus, working with digital analytics within the constrains of COPPA & GDPR is a cornerstone in everything we deliver.

You will lead a team that builds and operates the tools our development teams use for gaining live insights in the performance of apps and web experiences, build and run internally at LEGO. Just as important, you will be responsible for driving the collaboration with our many internal business partners around the use of the different platforms we use for analytics. Also, you will be responsible for driving and prioritizing the analytics backlog, in close collaboration with the delivery team.

We work in an agile set-up and have done so for years. We expect you come with an agile mindset and thrives in such an environment. There will be both a tech-lead and an architect to help support the direction and the deep dives into the technical platform, and they will together with you keep us on top of the latest trends and technologies whilst continuously having a user centric focus.

In short, your responsibilities will be to:
• Drive collaboration with business partners to support adoption and set overall direction.
• Drive the digital analytics agenda in our department
• Ensure focus and a collaborative environment for your development team.
• Act as the day to day responsible ensuring delivery and desired outcomes.
• Create transparency for our stakeholders into the value your team delivers.

You can expect up to 10 travel days a year to collaborate with our external development partners.

One role – many possibilities

You will join our group of digital producers that lead the development of a diverse set of consumer facing digital experiences such as LEGO.com, LEGO Life and LEGO TV, just to name a few. This gives you the chance to learn from experienced peers and gain a broad insight into our portfolio of experiences.

To succeed in this position, it is vital that you are persistent in reaching your goals and flexible, doing what it takes, to help your team getting things done. For this position, prior knowledge with implementing analytics across multiple teams and products will be an advantage. However, we will also consider candidates with a strong combination of technical and stakeholder management skills.

We will be looking for:
• 2+ years´ documented experience working with digital product development as a product owner, producer or similar.
• 3+ years´ documented experience working with analytics for apps and/or Web.
• Experience working with agile development teams and internal business stakeholders.
• A degree in software engineering, computer science or an IT focused commercial degree.
• Auto-didact is also okay - but a huge passion for digital is a MUST.
• Speak and write English fluently and have strong communication skills
