We are looking for a dedicated and passion Bachelor or Master Student to help us to establish a database system.You will be a part of a team that are generating a lot of data in a daily basis due to a great number of tests. Currently we are storing our data in different spread sheets which is not sustainable. As our new intern you will take a big part of this new and exciting project in establishing a new database system with a focus on traceability and transparency to optimize the collection and utilization of data.
You will join our Materials division driving the corporate sustainability agenda and safeguarding our material platform with high-quality plastics. Together, we scout the market for the best materials and are responsible for testing and approving materials and securing availability to the LEGO Group value chain.
Your specific tasks include:- Establish and outline the process
- Create prototype tools to add data into the database
- Transition the existing data into tool format (migration)
- Support the Project Manager in smaller tasks towards the project
- Train the future users of the database system
We fully respect that you are dedicated to your studies. Thus, your working hours will be adapted to this and you may also use the LEGO Group as a case for one of your papers.
Qualifications:- Knowledge of big data
- Knowledge of excel
- Preferably, knowledge of Granta MI, although it is not a prerequisite
- IT skills
- Data management
- Presentation skills
- System engineering way of working
- You communicate effortlessly in English and Danish
