Being part of in-house global shared service center in the LEGO Group - BSO (Business Service Operations)
The Account Receivable (AR) department interacts with a number of functions within the LEGO organization and therefore holds an important role within the BSO unit covering the Asia Pacific region. The overall purpose of the department is to enable the business to fulfil maximum orders with the lowest possible risk and to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables, and in addition mitigate credit risk and risk associated to sales activities through efficient, global and standardized processes.
The departmental focus is to: • Secure timely processing of orders/deliveries • Support sales in credit limit decisions • Timely collection of receivables • Drive improvement in DSO and overdue • Challenge business on credit risk
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
• Delivering a high-performing, customer- and service-oriented culture within the AR department • Manage debt collection for all Asia Markets. You will be responsible in ensuring all the daily transactional tasks are completed on time and support the Team Lead in handling other ad-hoc tasks. • Primary tasks include: - Issuing/Posting of Credit Note & Debit Note (CTTs; Scrap, Financial Invoice’s; etc.) - Process CTT and clearing - Manual Tax Filing for Taiwan - VAT Invoicing for China - Monitor VFX03/04 for stuck billing document - Intercompany Invoicing - Documenting processes and creating quick guides - Coordinating Auditor’s requests • Your Accountabilities and Responsibilities include: - Actively responds to internal/external customer requests - Deliver service up to the service promise/standard defined - Capable in meeting customer expectations - Keeping to the SLA promises - Timely completion of the tasks assigned
• Fresh graduate or 1 year experience in AR function • Degree or Diploma Accounting/Finance/Economics • Other relevant business functions experience • Preferably exposure to finance processes • Analytical, detail - and high-quality oriented • Manage multiple tasks successfully in a hectic working day • Fluent in reading / writing / speaking English • Microsoft Office at experienced level and have SAP knowledge
