It’s a masterpiece of design combining technic elements with traditional Lego bricks to provide most of the functions of a typewriter. Some advice to those who have not yet build theirs find a quiet space where you won’t be distracted. This build needs a lot of concentration especially when building bags 2,3 and 7. One last thing to say this set has some clever building techniques most of it is built sideways and parts of it feel like you are nailing it together.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Typewriter
- July 22nd, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0AmazingI would recommend this to a friend!Took a little while to decide to purchase this set as I did not think it was my sort of thing but boy was I wrong.I loved the different build techniques and the new elements. Can not believe how good it looks and how well it all went together so good. The real tester for me was what the wife said about it as she had been a typist all her life. She said the keys were set just the right distance apart and everything was there that she could type a letter on there with ease if it was a working piece. So for me it was a pleasing build and could become a classic in the future.Well done to the designer for doing thisPlay Experience4.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Typewriter
- July 1st, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0One of Lego’s BestI would recommend this to a friend!Absolutely terrific set with a great building experience. The sand green was a great choice when translating this set from it’s original variation to the official set. This set is sure to be eye catching wherever you decide to display it in your house. Great sturdy final product with some of the coolest moving features I have seen in an official set. There are 2 stickers in this build one in the front and the back which is not ideal, but they go in the bottom of the front and back and isn’t too noticeable if you don’t put them on. I didn’t put mine on my type writer because the building instructions, stickers and the cool letter you get to display in the typewriter was bent in their separate packaging in my box. I don’t mind them being damaged, but I sure wish I had a “perfect” one. Thank you Lego for this amazing set I wish I could build it for the first time again.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Typewriter
