- June 11th, 2021Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0It’s a map!I would recommend this to a friend!Overall I’m happy with this map, but Legos math is off on this one. This set uses 10,736 pieces if you follow the instructions, with 80 markers( 40 cones plus a matching smooth stud thats the same as all the other nine). I had 1,322 loose studs left over at the end of this project, so in reality my box officially had 12,058 pieces in an advertised set of 11,695. The set looks great, my only negative is there isn’t a compass or legend to explain the ocean topography or the markers and their meanings. Also, don’t follow the instructions on where to place the wall hangers, they are not set to 16”, more like 17”, this really needs to be mounted to studs it’s really heavy.14 June 2021Jane, LEGO® Customer ServiceWe appreciate your feedback!Play Experience3.0Value for Money3.0Was this helpful?45World Map
- July 3rd, 2021Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0Great SetHannah |I would recommend this to a friend!I was really excited when this set was launch and knew I wanted to buy. Since working from home I have been trying to find something in my background on calls and this ticked all the boxes of what I wanted. The Build was slow and at times a struggle. It was hard to keep enthusiastic when the build took so long. Now it's finished I am super happy and can't wait to show it off in the background of my calls. One criticism would be lack of hanging instructions. They do provide hocks but no were does it state how heavy the map is or what hardware is best. I am slightly worried it may fall off my wall or destroy it. It's certainly not a light thing to have hanging up. All in all I am very happy.Play Experience1.0Value for Money4.0Was this helpful?45World Map
- July 19th, 2021Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0Great art for the wallAndrew |I would recommend this to a friend! This is my first LEGO Art set that I purchased and it was a challenging yet great set! It took me around 25+ hours to complete but after 15 hours, it started to get a little repetitive. I love that the oceans can be customised in a multitude of ways, and the white frame makes the whole thing look nice. I also love that the set comes with cone pieces to mark the places you have visited. One thing I was concerned about was hanging it up. The set weighs about 10 lbs. and my apartment doesn’t allow nails in the wall. I found that heavy duty Command strips that can hold 16 lbs. is more than enough for this set. Overall this is a great set! If you are in need of some wall art and don’t mind some repetition, I recommend this set.Play Experience2.0Value for Money4.0Was this helpful?45World Map
- June 10th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0The ultimate travel experience!I would recommend this to a friend!I am so glad I decided to purchase this set! I love the color scheme of the ocean. I also like the dark blue mixed in with the white, it makes the land pop out in a unique way. The build was fun, at times it was a little tiring, but at the end it all paid off! The map when completed seems a bit floppy, and sometimes I am afraid of it breaking, but it really isn't a big problem. I so enjoyed the soundtrack that you can listen to while you build, (FYI the soundtrack is not music, but kind of like a podcast about the set). I haven't yet customized it, but I look forward to it!! This is overall such a good set to look at or play around with, or whatever you want to do with it. It is definitely worth the money if you're thinking about buying this set. Thank you LEGO so much for such an exciting build, and such an amazing display!Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55World Map
