Well, the kids (and my husband) had a ball building this set and playing with it. Our family owns a lot of Lego sets, but this one seems to be getting a bunch of attention from the children. The set is a very well thought out toy and the attention to detail is wonderful. It was easy to build and the moving parts do move with ease. The kids really liked that they could store things in the truck and the fire was a really nice touch. This is a great quality toy that stimulates the imagination!Play Experience5.0Was this helpful?

We got this right before our trip to the fire station to get our Christmas tree. Some of the lego sets are to hard for the little kids to do. So when we were having a lego build for the kids 10 and under were we totally planning on being the ones to build it. The instruction book was simple enough for the 10 year old to do on his own. He was ablw to show his 7 and 5 year old cousin the picture in the book and help them. So all 3 had built the fire trucks before our tree outing. The Fire Truck Ladder set was a hit at my house, my son who is 6 yrs old took charge and had this put together easily in no time. He stayed focused and entertained for hours on end after building this set, and still today he loves to get the lego set out and play with it for hours ! This set is easy to assemble nothing chaotic or hard for the children and is hours of fun and imagination playing on end. My 6-year-old has played for hours and hours with this fire ladder truck. It was easy to build, nothing complicated. We are a fan of Lego products. Lego pays attention to detail - such as with this fire truck, it comes with an axe, helmet and fire extinguisher. You can even move the ladder up and down! My son has no problems taking the pieces apart and putting them back together over and over.
