Job Description
- Project manager E2E of large projects including financial planning and control.
- Project coordination with project stream owners and internal/external team members.
- Support executive managers, by reporting of initiatives regarding scope, work, achievements, and critical metrics.
- Alignment and ability to hold project team members accountable to meet work you are doing and responsibilities within a given role as required to complete the initiative.
- Identification and partner concern of Technical and Resource roadblocks, issues and/or risks that impact scope, work, timeline and/or budget.
- Works with the Program Planner -Scheduler to establish the baseline project schedule and then updates that schedule to record actual progress.
- Supports continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the Project Management Team.
- LEGO project model compliance.
- Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently.
- Ability to handle and coordinates the evaluation and implementation of company’s utility-renewable energy project, directly or through Engineering, Procurement and Construction contracts, regarding development of project scopes and cost estimates, technology feasibility studies, engineering design, and system testing.
- Effectively communicates to both internal (Engineering, Legal, Procurement, Environmental Responsibility and Finance Departments) and external partners in key business areas.
Are you up for the challenge?
- 5+ years of project management related experience, with a strong focus in one of the following areas: solar or power plant/general construction and/or related utility operations construction experience.
- Experience leading contract staff including construction management, safety, and environmental contractors responsible for contract and permit compliance requirements. Running design and installation of utility-scale photovoltaic systems. Coordination of design and documentation with utility providers for interconnection.
