In this role, you will get the opportunity to work with new innovative digital products that play a key part in creating the foundation for digital ways of working, driven by business value and setting the standards for sharing of data and assets from marketing development to other part of The LEGO Group.
Responsibilities
You will lead the design process: user research, prototyping, working with the developers. You are skilled in systems thinking and human-centered design, and you are focused on continually embedding user feedback in the process to ensure the overall digital experience provides a real benefit to users.
- Lead clarification of user needs and user stories, working closely with business users and product managers
- Design experiences for digital products; promote automation and process optimization, think and iterate beyond screen UI design
- Execute efforts related to applying research methodologies, creating architecture, ideation, and prototyping
- Continually interface with frontend developers to capture their creativity and input
- Conduct user testing early in the process and integrate applicable feedback in the UI design
- Participate in Design Sprint workshops
- Closely and iteratively collaborate with a diverse group of UX researchers, interaction designers, developers, and product managers cross the Digital organization
- Work agile in a cross-functional product team, collaborating across a full value-chain of software products
- Take part in evolving and maturing UX and product design methodologies across the digital organization
Requirements
- Significant experience working with software product development as a product designer on digital marketing systems
- Experience with design and prototyping software such as: Axure, Principle, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision
- Significant design work experience on web applications and backend systems
- Skilled in and thrilled by conducting user tests and synthesizing data at various stages of the product development lifecycle
- Previous experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Deep understanding of Domain Driven Design and product lead team setup.
