I would recommend this to a friend!
My son really wanted this set for the tram and had saved his own money to purchase it, and overall he does enjoy the set however it really is over priced and better value would have been gained from buying smaller city sets. The builds are not linked, they feel like a bunch of different mini builds that have been included into one box, and had the yellow tram been available then he would have purchased them separate Additionally the lack of any track for the tram is disappointing.Play Experience4.0Value for Money2.0Was this helpful?

A $200 city set that includes a train without tracks. For whatever reason lego is very stingy with train tracks and the wide full size train wheels and magnetic connectors. My kids spent 90% of their time at Lego land playing with the large train wheels and making their own trains. Can you buy them? No. Just a whole over priced set. Can you get enough tracks and crossing signals and switches for a cool train kit? No. Just the train and a small number of tracks. This set didn’t even include tracks for the train to ride on.
