  Too many have stated they thought Lego mislead them into thinking they could build all four portraits with one set. Practice due diligence before ordering please. All reviews online clearly state you can build all four but only one at a time, as does the Lego site and the box art. I don't like to see a good product penalized for that. It was a jigsaw style fun project for me and I enjoyed the process doing George first and liking the end result a lot. I don't plan on displaying all four so I'll shoot a photo, dismantle and start another. No big deal, think of it as a 4 in 1 set. Great packaging, graphics and instructions Lego Team and even though I'm color blind I made it happen. Next time numbered bags will definitely help.

  Not what I expected

  Sure, obviously I didn't read the full description but it was NOT what I expected. I purchased for my teenage daughter who LOVES the Beatles and Lego. I was so disappointed when I opened my purchase and saw that in order to experience all 4 Beatles you have to purchase 4 kits. For $150 a pop! Lego fail! I have spent thousands of dollars on Lego over the years and this purchase and subsequent return really annoys me. What I thought would spark excitement and joy on xmas morning would have surely resulted in disappointment. All I have to say in my best Mom voice, 'Lego, I expected better from you at that price point. I am extremely disappointed in you'.

  I am enjoying making this set. However, I suggest numbering the bags to correspond to the legend. I transferred all my dots to numbered zip locked bags. The cellophane bags tear easily and even after I numbered them the transfer to zip lock bags made managing the build easier. I was so glad to have a good eye for color because if I were color blind this would be a disaster.

  I would recommend this to a friend!

  First, read the box before you buy: 1 PICTURE - 4 Options. I bought all 4 b/c I knew that I wanted all 4 to hang on a wall. It was a great experience putting them together. It was amazing how the pictures came to life as you build them. Since we had 4 books, it was easy for our family of four to build together. Now when I look at them, I remember all the fun my family had building them. In addition, I bought one for my sister who loves The Beatles and Legos. She built one, then took it apart and rebuilt the remaining three. She then rebuilt it again of her favorite. The only negative was one box was missing one of the colors; however, Lego’s customer service shipped out the missing bag and I got it in four days.
