- October 26th, 2020Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Amazing Set!I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfWhile the Monkie Kid theme suffers from sets being too expensive(compared to the Ninjago line with a lot of affordable options), this set has proven to be a GREAT bang for your buck. The play value here is incredible with lots of really cool and unique play functions. The instructions were very easy to read and should not be much of a problem for young(10-) builders with the exception of 1 or 2 technic areas regarding the wing attachments. You get some key characters from the theme here as well as an extra grunt! The model itself is well built, sturdy, and a ton of fun to play with. As a collector who generally aims for display type sets, this one caught my interest for it's unique design and I have come to absolutely love it! If you're looking to get started with Monkie Kid or just add to the collection, this is a great pick!Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty2.0Value for Money5.0Build Time: 1 hrsBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Monkie Kid’s Cloud Jet
- February 25th, 2021Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0Great Functions but Ketchup and Mustard ColorsDrustan |Purchased for: SelfTLDR: Bike function is the best part of the build and a lot of fun to use, but the whole thing isn't that appealing to look at. For Build: The build is quite varied, with the symmetric vehicles not being too tedious. The wings are very unique in their construction and the bike is elegantly formed. In Play: The main split function of the motorcycle detaching works very well and can be pretty fun to use in play. Having Red Son and his overblown jetpack included makes sure that battles are easy to stage with just this set. On Display: The odd connection point between the bike and the jet has some strange gaps from certain angles, but the rest of the build is pretty cool to look at. However, I've never been a fan of ketchup and mustard (red and yellow) as it can be pretty garish and doesn't really look great when up against the other Monkie Kid sets.Play Experience4.0Value for Money3.0Build Time: 1 hrsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Monkie Kid’s Cloud Jet
- December 31st, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0SO MUCH FUN!I would recommend this to a friend!I got this from my dad for my birthday. IT'S SO MUCH FUN! I rewatched all the Monkie Kid episodes while building it, too! I'm glad I chose this one to ask for. Not only is it the first of MK's builds in the series, it also comes with Red Son! I had fun posing them to fight (and also be friends)! I hope I can get more sets soon, and also I hope to see Monkie Kid on TV in 2022!!Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Monkie Kid’s Cloud Jet
- May 24th, 2020Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0Could be better...but I still love it!I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfFirst off, I don’t want to come across as negative. This set is amazing, don’t get me wrong, it’s a cheap way to get red son if you don’t want to fork over $120 for the Inferno Truck. I wish LEGO could have used a better windshield piece... maybe wind screen from 70703? Anyway, this set rocks! Definitely would buy again!Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty3.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 2 hrs 7 minsBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Monkie Kid’s Cloud Jet
