Electronic Dance Music can sound like it came from another planet. So with ETDM, we pictured a supergroup of alien musicians on their way to an intergalactic concert, crash-landing on Earth and deciding to entertain Earthlings with their out-of-this-world music (literally…)
How we made … Pirate Punk
A perk of our job is asking things like: “What music would pirates make?” The answer was of course punk, as we envisaged these original rebels sailing the seven seas searching for instruments, making lyrics to scare land-lubbers and rocking intense fashion choices.
How we made … K-Pawp
K-Pop has everything: amazing choreography, a mash-up of styles and incredible music videos. But it’s also not afraid to be cute as well as cool. With that in mind, we imagined the cutest animals we could think of, getting signed as the next K-Pop super-band!
How we made … Robo Hiphop
HipHop changed the game, by creating brand-new ways to express oneself. How about a new generation took it even further? Like a robot group, self-upgrading to perform insanely complex dance moves and rap lyrics and become the best performers of the age.
How we made… Candy Pop
Pop music is one part fun, one part happiness. We decided to add to that recipe by mixing in desserts! Candy Pop is a sweet, playful buffet of anything that sparks joy – like candy coming to life or fantasy characters getting delicious makeovers!

L.L.A.M.A is a tricky mammal to pin down… but we found time between their busy schedule of DJ sets, celebrity-packed parties and… *checks notes*… cake baking… to ask a few questions.
Hey L.L.A.M.A! How’re you doing?
“I’m doing good! I’ve actually had a super productive day today. I made smoothies for breakfast, went for a run AND picked out a brand-new outfit for my next DJ set. It’s very glittery… I’m going to look like a llama-shaped disco-ball”
So, we’re guessing you didn’t get time for music today?
“Oh no, I always have time for music. You don’t always have to be sat in front of a keyboard to get inspiration. Like, when I was out running today, I was humming this track I’ve been working on with… ah I probably shouldn’t say just yet… Anyway, I hummed in time with my steps, which was slower than we’ve tried the song before, but it was the perfect BPM! Straightaway I FaceTimed… again I probably shouldn’t say… but they were pumped! I haven’t seen them that excited since Lady G’s (that’s what her friend’s call her) Christmas party...”
You’ve seemingly come out of nowhere to burst onto the music scene. Has your sudden success surprised you?
“Not really. People have only seen the most recent part of my journey, but of course I’ve seen the whole path. But it’s funny to see the rumors flying around about my past. The internet can be really… creative… Though there are some guesses which have been pretty close to the truth. I’m just focusing on the most important thing – making good tunes and having a good time doing it. Can you put in emojis in this interview? If so, do the bicep one. And leave out this bit where I’m asking about emojis… that would be weird…”
You seem to have the world at your hooves… What’s your philosophy?
“Avoid all philosophies. The world is too crazy to make mantras that apply universally. Like, it’s easy for me to tweet life philosophies when I’m dancing ‘til dawn with A-Listers… I just try to enjoy every day and make friends with people who also don’t take life too seriously. Wait, did I just come up with a philosophy? I sure hope not…”
A day in the Llife…
“I’m in the studio every day. Whenever I listen to new music, old music or even everyday sounds, I just always seem to get an idea for a new track. And I’m lucky enough to be able to put those ideas into my own beats. And so I do…”
Llights, camera, action!
“When they asked me if I wanted to be in the TV ad for LEGO® VIDIYO™, I immediately said yes. (Okay, not immediately, my agent did some negotiating and I asked for a better hotel than they gave me at first, BUT THEN I said yes.) It was a great shoot, my make-up and hair were on point and I got to travel back to my hometown to perform a DJ set for some llamas I went to school with!”
Exploring Llondon
“Okay, so being based in L.A., I obviously don’t go to London every day… But still, it’s one of my favorite cities to explore. There’s just so much happening on every corner, you know? It’s refreshing for me to be able to walk through a busy street and not even be the thing that most people are looking at!”
