Forced perspective: How to shrink

As you know, Heartlake City is only (well, mostly) built for mini-doll-sized people. But you can still create fun illusions to make it look like you, your family or friends are actually in the middle of all the Heartlake City action. Here are a few tips on how to make yourself, a parent or friend look mini-doll-size: 1) Build a mini-doll-scale LEGO® model of a house, car, chair or maybe something like the Ferris wheel. ----- 2) Set up your phone and place your cool build up close in front of your camera, whether it’s a brick-built hat, a nice fun fair ride, or maybe your favorite mini-doll. ----- 3) Now it’s time to get your parent or friend in the shot. Ask them to move further away from the camera to make them appear smaller and let them do something fun, like jump into a hat, board a fun fair ride or hold a mini-doll accessory or your mini-doll’s hand. ----- 4) Take pictures and check your illusion – you can always adjust placements to get a more precise scale. Just play with it and have fun together! What other illusions can you create? Keep an eye out for more LEGO Friends challenges coming every week! #LFC
