The team’ overall focus is to ensure that the LEGO Group's existing and potential business partners meet and share our commitment to doing business with high integrity and in adherence with all relevant laws and regulations. The aim of our Integrity Due Diligence team is to identify and address issues of concern relating to third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, wrongdoing or allegations of wrongdoing in associations with bribery, anticompetitive behavior, human rights violations, child labor, labor rights violations, environmental violations, health and safety breaches, significant civil and criminal litigation. Your core responsibilities will be the following:
• Order reports and review information gathered by our due diligence providers
• Analyse information and risk in the context of the business relationship
• Resolve any uncertainty or confusion in issues presented by our due diligence providers
• Conduct supplementary desktop research as required
• Draft reports that:
o present relevant findings in a business-friendly manner, where issues of concern are clearly identified
o formulate recommendations, mitigations and follow-up actions as required in collaboration with other relevant governance, risk and compliance (GRC) teams
o provide an overall risk rating for the third party review
• Build strong relationships across the organisation. Establish and manage communication lines with relevant business and GRC stakeholders to ensure IDD requests assigned to you are dealt with professionally and agreed deadlines are met
• Work on multiple projects at any one time and manage own workload
• Ensure IDD program procedures are followed at all times throughout the review process

Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree minimum in a subject relevant to corporate compliance and risk management
• Some work experience working in the compliance or risk management sector, either in-house or at a consulting firm
• Excellent English language report-writing skills
• Strong research and analysis skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to process and understand large amounts of information and summarize quickly, concisely, and to effectively communicate findings to colleagues
• Knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption regulations and legislations
• Ability to maintain analytical and investigative mindset
• Commitment to stakeholder management and investing time in understanding the organisation’s operations and structure
• Expresses self clearly and displays sensitivity to develop constructive relationship with others. Shows understanding of others in order to influence as appropriate.
• Strong work ethic and a team player with the ability and willingness to respond to unexpected developments quickly and prioritize accordingly
• Nice to have:
o Working proficiency in other languages desirable, notably Spanish
o Master’s degree in a relevant subject
o Experience in use of corporate, media, and other specialist databases ideal, but not essential
o Previous experience working with SAP
