Project Manager for LEGO Education - Front End Innovation

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can lead the way for the early development of novelty product solutions from idea to final experience- including a go-to-market business plan.This is an opportunity to work with different stakeholders globally, manage projects across the entire value chain and build a strong network.

Driving projects through your knowledge of physical/digital Experience Solutions and Operating Model Processes

You will be responsible for strengthen our external partner collaboration both when it comes to building a broader and deeper innovation network and when it comes to building a more impactful business through and with partners. You will act as external partner advocate to internal LEGO Operating model and processes by ensuring the right interfaces at the right times.

In the short horizon, we are running a business-critical project, that include various smaller and bigger partnerships. By strategically defining and making a new partnership model come to life we are paving the way for a new way of creating LEGO Education relevance, reach and business. We urgently need to push forward and create progress on both experience, business and legal side of things.

Most of the above-mentioned partnership work is initiated out of our Boston office, where you will spend approx. 50% of your time in foreseeable future. The remaining 50% of your work time will be spend on a super ambitious new physical/digital learning solution – this project is run out of Billund and your role will be more supportive and to learn from our existing senior project manager.

Working with LEGO Education means helping children improve their skills as part of their natural curiosity and desire to explore, learn and play. You will be based in Billund and be part of the Front-End innovation team of 20 highly engaged, committed, fun and social colleagues. The aspect of future classroom solutions is a top priority and must be implemented into strong project plans that capture dependencies across solution components and departments.

Do you have what it takes?

.The challenge is to handle the broad variety of projects and stakeholders simultaneously as well as having the ability to translate high-level partner dialogue into more concrete concept-value (first level prototype) and connected processes, which the rest of the organization can relate to and be motivated to run with.

To succeed in doing so, you:
- Have 3+ years of experience as project manager, driving the development of physical and digital learning products
- You have strong professional skill and mind-set for working with partners and seeing new opportunities before others
- You already have proven track record documenting strong leadership, visual leadership and collaboration skills with the bonus benefit of infusing these values into a relatively new front-end team
- Might hold project management certificates (e.g. Prince2 or IMPA), and other skills could include experience with SAP and insights into the operations and supply chain areas of a production company
- Can think in trade-offs and yet set clear direction, just as you are outspoken as well as reflective
