Production Coordinator (Molding)
Here in LEGO we collaborate to create an extraordinary brand that inspires children, the builders of tomorrow.We are looking for a Production Coordinator who can provide adequate support to the Moulding operation through the effective processing and analysis of production information to define improvement actions or problem solutions besides the validation of new products introduction or process modifications ensuring no impact on the area key performance indicators.
ChallengesSecure adequate resources in the team for the accomplishment of the production plan.
Respond efficiently to changes in Production plans.
Make sure the Moulding Production area complies with established safety, quality and cost.
Participate in daily production meetings and tracking our KP´s.
Participate in Continuous Improvements events.
Participate in all kinds of activities related to LEAN assigned by manager.
Support Audit Processes.
Support supervisor in 5’s corrective actions and findings of Safety GLS.
Aid supervisor in corrective actions of the audit process, external claims.
Be accountable of additional tasks assigned by Manager.
Responsibility to manage production floor if Supervisor is not in premises.
Follow established guidelines according to the policies for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality governed within the LEGO Group.
Actively participate in activities related to the topic of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality in the plant. (For example: Training, drills, programs, etc.)
Comply with the guidelines established in the processes in Global and Local way to fulfill the requirements of the OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001
Deliver on time and schedule the established processes and procedures related to the environmental care, including the correct waste handling and recycling, as well as the correct use of all resources like water and electricity, report any missing material for achieving this processes in the right form, also participate with any continuous improvement ideas focused on the environmental care.
Do you have what it takes?Education: Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Experience: 1 year of working experience in manufacturing companies as Intern.
Skills: Leadership, teamwork, proactive, customer orientation, innovation, self-learning, effective communication, continuous improvement and problem solving. Basic knowledge of project management. Data analysis and visualization with Microsoft Excel. Data analysis with Minitab is optional.
Knowledge: English at intermediate.
• Flexibility: This position is entitled to rotative (night & day) shifts on a 4X4 schedule.
• Availability: Able to work on weekends and holidays.
