Core Responsibilities

As a senior engineer you will also be responsible for coaching and ensuring we make good technical decisions. Also you will:

  • Work closely with product manager, design and other engineers to plan and define new features.
  • Collaborate across teams and products.
  • Deliver high quality, working software on a continuous basis.
  • Drive technical excellence and support the team with improvements to our technical toolchain.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.

Trade Promotion is a system that provides the LEGO Group with transparency and insights into activities, promotions and trade investments with business-to-business (B2B) partners. Trade Promotion Execution handles the post-event steps of the planned activities through and optimized and compliant settlement and deduction process.

We build our applications using TypeScript, Node.js and React.js. Our backend is deployed to Amazon Web Services (AWS) with PostgreSQL databases, we use GraphQL APIs and event bus to communicate between systems. We integrate with REST, GraphQL and Async APIs developed by other awesome teams across our Digital Technology departement.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience building APIs (REST or/and GraphQL).
  • Ability to operate in cloud solutions, e.g. AWS.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IoC) tools.
  • Flair for performance, security and code quality.
