Core Responsibilities
As a senior frontend engineer in the Trade Promotion team, you will be building and delivering seamless experience for our key account managers.
- Work closely with product manager, design and other engineers to plan and define new features.
- Collaborate across teams and products.
- Deliver high quality, working software on a continuous basis.
- Drive technical excellence and support the team with improvements to our technical toolchain.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.

Trade Promotion is a system that provides the LEGO Group with transparency and insights into activities, promotions and trade investments with business-to-business (B2B) partners. Trade Promotion Execution handles the post-event steps of the planned activities through and optimized and compliant settlement and deduction process.
Our frontend is built with TypeScript, React.js and Klik – the LEGO Group’s own Design System and Component Library. Our backend is deployed to Amazon Web Services (AWS) with PostgreSQL databases, we use GraphQL API's and event bus to communicate between systems. We integrate with REST, GraphQL, Async API's and Klik developed by other phenomenal teams across our Digital Technology department.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience building Frontend applications.
- Knowledge about micro-frontend architecture.
- Ability to operate in cloud solutions
- A flair for working with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
- Well skilled in performance, security and code quality.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong experience building and architecting frontend applications, knowledge about micro-frontends as well as familiarity with backend systems and technologies. As a valued senior engineer you will also be responsible for coaching others and ensuring we make good technical decisions.
