Job Description

The Supply & Demand Technology team builds and innovates global Digital solutions for the entire supply chain in the LEGO Group, which is vital in delivering phenomenal play experiences. We handle extensive and constantly evolving amounts of data, and our products are the foundation for planning the supply, production, and distribution of LEGO® products globally.

Handling changes in planning and master data is challenging and requires expert and robust solutions to ensure an efficient flow in the factories and distribution. This is why we focus on quality, speed, skilled and motivated people and modern software development practices to accomplish this. You will join a very collaborative, diverse and friendly team which consists of engineers from around the world that are all keen to develop and maintain a professional product. In this position you will help ensure that we always have the needed LEGO products available in the right location for our consumers to enjoy.

Core Responsibilities:

· Design, build and configure end-to-end applications through close collaboration with other product team members.

· Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by implementing and following LEGO Groups principles from ideation to production release and beyond.

· Engineer products that implement business logic, modern design patterns and architectural principles.

· Deliver products that follow the highest coding standards e.g., documentation and efficiency.

· Ensure product adaptability and reliability by writing and implementing unit and integration tests.

· Improve operational efficiency by developing automation tools for daily tasks.

· Build efficient and optimal solutions by challenging ideas/opinions.

· Suggest and define future stories to support the Product Owner.

What we are looking for:

· Skilled SAP engineer that is change ready and open to assist on a wide variety of tasks depending on team priorities.

· Exposure to SAP BTP, maybe with experience in administrating and monitoring cloud solutions/platforms.

· Experience with SAP CAP and/or SAPUI5.

· A curious teammate that continuously wants to learn and naturally shares knowledge.

· Enjoy delivering balanced solutions with quality over quantity always considering performance and security.

· Experience working in an agile development team.

· Communicates efficiently in English both written and verbally.

· Experience working with solutions that support business processes.

Nice to haves:

· Exposure to SAP HANA Cloud, native HANA development or SAP RAP.

· Knowledge of other programming languages such as Node.js/ JavaScript.

· Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

· Understanding of API Management and development.

· Exposure to other cloud environments such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.

· Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana).
