Job Description

Are you interested in joining one of the LEGO Groups Product teams? You will be improving the systems behind our systems that power the scheduling for the fulfilment of our Production orders in our factories.

As a Senior engineer you'll be responsible for leading this new team in improving our factories machine availability, how they execute and deliver our final bricks. You will contribute across several technical activities, including engineering-heavy and low-code activities, such as data engineering, software development, system/product configuration and DevOps practices, while improving software functionality and participate actively in the product team by solving engineering responsibilities across the solution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, build and configure end-to-end applications through close collaboration with other product team members.
  • Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by implementing and following LEGO Group principles from ideation to production release and beyond.
  • Build products that implement business logic, modern design patterns and architectural principles.
  • Engineer products that follow highest coding standards e.g. documentation and efficiency.
  • Ensure product adaptability and reliability by writing and implementing unit and integration tests.
  • Improve operational efficiency by developing automation tools for daily tasks.
  • Build efficient and optimal solutions by challenging ideas/opinions.
  • Suggest and define future stories to support the Product Owner.

Experience:

  • A background in programming using Golang.
  • An understanding of C#
  • Proven understanding in Cloud technologies- Preferably in AWS.
  • Worked in a microservice environment.
  • Experience developing API's and working on integrations.
