Core Responsibilities

The team focusses on providing self-service & automated access to everything a developer needs to build outstanding digital products. We are leading the road to becoming cloud-first, API-first (&awesome-first) by providing advocacy and thought leadership within our engineering communities.

  • Write code and have fun.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers in and out of the team to build self-service capabilities, to empower product teams across the organization.
  • See opportunities to improve developer experiences and work with the team to implement these.
  • Ensure adoption of new developer tools and processes, by building the vital automations and processes.

In the role of engineer in Developer Experience, you will be part of the development team that is building the next generation of developer experience. Developer Experience strives to empower developers by automating routine tasks, by providing mentorship on the usage of developer tools and by driving the adoption of new capabilities in the developer community.

The team is based in the brand-new Campus in Billund, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment.

Do you have what it takes?

We are looking for candidates there holds a degree in Computer Science, Digital-tech Engineering, or equivalent working experience. You are an experienced software developer (Front-end, Back-end or DevOps) in enterprise cloud management, and have some experience with infrastructure, automated deployments and running products in the cloud – but put the User Experience first.

Maybe your technology toolbox contains some of these: Java, C#, Node.JS, Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, Microservices, Amazon Web Services, API experience.

Experience in agile ways of working is encouraged.

To succeed in this role, you preferably have competence within the following:

  • Experience with general purpose programming languages like C#, Java, Python, Golang
  • Experience with Cloud native development (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience with one or more CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to develop as a professional.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and prototyping techniques
  • Dare to speak up and learn from the failures.
  • Shown eagerness to continuous learning through your previous experiences.
  • Dedication to deliver quality code.
  • Shown problem-solving skills.

Advanced English both written and verbally are needed since we are an international gathered team.
